Because Sainik Schools Entrance Exam 2023 latest updates are available here on this page. Sainik Schools are managed and regulated under Sainik Schools Society which has controlled by  Sainik Schools Society, Ministry of Defence.

In Sainik Schools seats are reserved for those children who are serving in Defence and concessions are given to children of govt officials. Sainik Schools Society also provide the admission to children which parents has no defence background. They can also take the admission in Sainik Schools.

Last Year 2021-22, The AISSEE 2022 Entrance Test conducted on 09 February 2022. In Year 2020-21 exam was conducted on 07 January 2021. In Year 2019-20 Exam was organized on 05 January 2020. For next year 2023, AISSEE 2023 will be held on 08 January 2023. Candidates need to submit their application form in the Sainik School where they want to take admission before the last date. Starting date and closing date to submit the application form from 21 October 2022 to 30 November 2022.

Class 6 – English/ Hindi/ Local Language of the State

Class 9 – English Language Only

Sainik School Admission 2023 Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit : Age Limit criteria for admission in Sainik School

Class 6 – 10 to 12 years {01 April 2011 to 31 March 2013}

Class 9 – 13 to 15 years {1 April 2008 to 31 March 2010}

Boys and Girls candidates are eligible to take admission in Sainik School all over India. Boys candidates can take admission in class VI and IX as per the availability of vacancies in the respective schools. Girls candidates can apply only for admission in Class VI.

Candidate should be between 10 and 12 years as on 31.03.2023. Admission for Girls is open in Class VI only in all Sainik Schools. Eligibility for admission to approved New Sainik Schools is detailed in the Information Bulletin. 

Eligibility for admission in Class IX : 

Candidate should be between 13 and 15 years as on 31.03.2023 and should have passed Class VIII, from a recognised school, at the time of admission.
